洞穴潛伏者龍，也稱為2012年的萬聖節龍（軸頁排序），於2012年11月3日發布，沒有數量限制。

由於珊迪（Sandy）颶風嚴重影響了北美的東海岸，TJ希望災區的玩家也能夠得到新蛋，因此2012年的萬聖節蛋延後至11/3日發放。

作為能使人回憶起這次節蛋的延遲發放（通常在10/31日發放）的身份，TJ給予他的龍兒們「Hurcn」、「Sandy」與「Delay」這三個代碼，那闡明著「珊迪颶風延遲」。

Hurcn 成熟的幼龍
Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It hides in dark spaces and lunges at anything that gets too close. Small piles of bones are accumulating outside of its “lairs”...
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
哇……這是一隻可愛的龍寶寶。牠藏身在陰暗的空間裡且會猛的撲向任何靠近的東西。有小堆的骨頭推放在牠的「巢穴」外……

雌雄 成年龍

Cavern Lurker dragons are nocturnal ambush predators. Although small, they are very aggressive and will attack anything weak enough to be overpowered. Their preferred method of hunting is to lie in wait in a cave, burrow, or other small, enclosed space; when any potential prey passes they will lunge out to grab hold of the unsuspecting victim and drag it back into the lair. Cavern Lurkers have an odd aversion to sunlight and almost never venture out during the day. More commonly sighted are the odd piles of bones they stack near the entrance to their dens. Their mating call is a low-pitched bumping noise.
洞穴潛伏者龍是夜間埋伏的肉食動物。雖然是小型龍，但牠們是非常好鬥且會攻擊任何弱小到足以擊敗的動物。牠們主要的狩獵方法是暗藏於洞穴、地洞，或是其他小的，能夠隱蔽藏身的空間；當任何可能的獵物經過時，牠們便會猛地衝出來攫住毫不知情的犧牲者並拖回巢穴裡。洞穴潛伏者有一個古怪的習性，牠們厭惡陽光且幾乎整天都不嘗試外出。更常見到的是零散幾堆骨頭被積放在牠們的巢穴洞口附近。牠們繁殖時的鳴叫聲是一種低沉的物體碰撞聲。
 
根據JOTB（洞穴潛伏者的設計師）在這個張貼中補充：

「They're based off the idea of the boogeyman, things that go bump in the night, monsters in your closest, etc. Adults get to be about the size of a small horse, so unfortunately they're a bit too big to fit under your bed. They're usually foul-tempered and often have bad breath.」
牠們的靈感是基於惡魔，夜裡發出的奇怪聲響，怪物就在你身邊等等。成年龍大概就像一隻小馬駒那麼大，真不巧牠們要安藏在你床下的空間中還是有些太大了。牠們通常是壞脾氣的還經常有口臭。
