  成年龍

Red-finned Tidal Dragons are sociable creatures that dwell in warm waters populated by coral reefs and tropical fish. It is unusual to see a lone Red-finned Dragon, as they travel in large groups for defense and hunting. Although they spend most of their time underwater, these dragons will sometimes pop their curious heads above the surface to watch the sun or follow passing ships. With their long, flexible tails swirling in mesmerizing shapes, males are thought to be among the most graceful of sea creatures during their courtship dances. Their beautiful dances never unnoticed by the opposite gender, and are very often rewarded.

紅鰭潮汐龍是生活在有著珊瑚礁與熱帶魚的溫暖水域中的合群的物種。看到單獨的一隻紅鰭潮汐龍是難得的，因為牠們通常大群體的行動以便於保衛自己和補獵。雖然牠們在水中花費大部分的時間，但偶爾也會把好奇的腦袋伸出水面，看看太陽或盯著經過的船隻。隨著牠們細長、靈活的尾巴旋繞成迷人的姿態，跳著求偶舞蹈的雄性被認為是海洋中最優美的生物。牠們美麗的舞蹈從未被異性忽視且往往非常管用的獲得回報。
