紫外光龍是「Happy 6th Birthday」慶祝龍洞網站六歲生日的發布主題中的一部分，和絢光龍、海嘯翼龍一起被發布。紫外光龍不能從龍洞首頁得到，只能經由繁殖獲得。

 成年龍

Ultraviolet dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

紫外光龍是愛好高溫的品種，最普遍能在炎熱、乾燥的環境中發現到。這些強壯的龍是雜食性，植物與動物都會是牠們的食物，甚至是身上有著一堆針狀物為防衛的物種，比如仙人掌。牠們一般是愛好和平且往往相當友善，但雄性在繁殖季節期間會變的具攻擊性且性格古怪。為了爭奪雌性的激烈的戰鬥，有時會是兩敗俱傷的局面。
