狂熱翼龍和狂暴龍一起發布於2014/3/2日。牠們也是在2014年中第一個非節日龍的發布。

2014年8月期間，狂熱翼龍的成年龍描述被更改了兩次。舊的描述可以在最下方看到。
有趣的是：狂熱翼龍的蛋類似於已停產的褶邊龍蛋。

 成年龍

Each Fever wyvern carries a unique and very deadly disease on the spines of its tail. To make up for a lack of physical strength, the dragons use this disease to their advantage by poisoning prey and fending off attackers. The illness will quickly render victims helpless before eventually killing them. A Fever will track its prey until the target can no longer move. Usually a solitary breed, these dragons will only come together during mating season, and will flare out the brightly colored sails along their wings to help attract potential mates. Although it has been observed that the wyverns are nocturnal, they will often pick an open spot of sunshine to curl up in and sleep as the day passes by.

They are indeed very intelligent dragons. The bacteria on their tails is purposefully nurtured into being what it is, beginning as soon as the stingers grow in. Each Fever has it's own unique strain which it is immune to, but other Fevers can be still infected, although the mortality rate is low.

We could say these dragons would make good chemists/pharmacist/doctors.. IF they weren't so moody. They don't particularly enjoy company and are quite territorial, so they'll readily defend their space. One reason they don't keep friends well is because of how dangerous the tail stingers are. It's not entirely unheard of for a Fever to make friends, but they generally try to keep their distance so as not to accidentally hurt the other dragon. (Some of the more sensitive individuals could have a rough time with this, emotionally.)

Although quick to anger, Fever wyverns tend to keep their rationality and won't actually attack with their stingers unless there is a real, serious threat. They'll give all sorts of warnings first, such as making angry noises, stomping their feet, swinging their tail around, and/or flaring out their wing sails. The benefit to using the stingers on prey is that it becomes inedible to scavengers so nothing is likely to try and take it and the wyvern can save it for later.

牠們真的是非常聰明的龍。尾巴上的細菌是只要牠們的刺長出就以明確目的培養的。每隻狂熱龍都有自己獨特的且自身免疫的菌株，但其他狂熱龍還是可能被感染的，只是致死率很低。

我們可以指出這些龍會是很好的化學家、藥劑師或醫生……如果牠們不是這樣的喜怒無常。牠們不是很喜歡群聚生活且是極具地域性的，因此會很習慣的捍衛自己的地盤。牠們不結交朋友的其中一個原因是，尾巴上的刺是具有危險性的。雖不是真的沒聽聞過狂熱龍結交朋友，但通常會盡量保持距離以免不小心傷了其他龍。（一些敏感的個體在這樣有距離的關係下，在情感上可能會有段磨合期。）

雖然動不動就生氣，但狂熱翼龍還是傾向於保持理性，並不會真的用尾巴上的刺去攻擊，除非有一個真正、嚴重的威脅。一開始會先給予各種警告，像是以生氣的聲音威嚇、跺跺腳、搖尾巴或張開牠們的帆形翼膜。被刺扎過的獵物的好處是會變得不能吃，清潔者就不可能去撿現成的，狂熱翼龍就可以先丟著以後再吃。

狂熱翼龍的描述被更改了兩次，第一次改動沒有被公告，所以確切日期其實是未知的，而最先被發現到的日期是8/2日。

原先的描述：

To make up for a lack of physical strength, Fever Wyverns rely on a strain of deadly bacteria which grows on their tail spines. This bateria is used to help kill prey or as a defense mechanism. The bacteria will attack the victim’s nervous and respiratory systems upon entering the body, quickly rendering it helpless before eventually killing it. Usually a solitary breed, these dragons will only come together during mating season and will flare out the brightly colored sails along their wings to help attract potential mates. Although it has been observed that the wyverns are nocturnal, they will often pick an open spot of sunshine to curl up in and sleep as the day passes by.
